Gracinha de Olinda

A restaurant and craft cachaça bar in Olinda, Brazil — traditional Northeastern cuisine cooked over fire, embers and slow stews.

Cuisine of the land

Pernambuco tradition, fire and embers

Gracinha is a restaurant and craft cachaça bar in Olinda, focused on traditional Northeastern Brazilian cuisine built around fire, embers and slow-cooked stews. We work with proteins like goat, lamb and free-range chicken, and dishes such as rabada (oxtail stew), sarapatel and xerém (hominy porridge).

The project is signed by Pernambuco-born chef Thiago das Chagas, who also runs Reteteu Comida Honesta and São Pedro Restaurante in Recife — a contemporary reading of regional cuisine that keeps the integrity of traditional techniques and ingredients intact.

Cachaça, given the spotlight it deserves

We treat cachaça as central to Gracinha's identity. We work with labels from Northeastern Brazil, chosen with the same care we put into our dishes. Our drinks list is built entirely around cachaça — signature creations and cocktail classics, side by side.
